19th Annual Golf Tournament

From Our Club President – Bob Evans What a spectacular 19th Annual Golf Tournament! It took three months of planning and hundreds of volunteer hours but we pulled it off and in our usual big way. It started with the Golf Committee in the conference room of First State Bank. Some of the highlights this year were improved sponsor signs and customized goodie bags that were completely stuffed. Then came the sponsorships! I don't think we broke a record but we came close by receiving 18 Scholarship level sponsors ($1,000), 1 Gold level ($2,000) and 1 Platinum level ($4,000) with a total of 48 sponsors. Next, the cooking team prepares, shops, and starts cooking at 9:00pm Wednesday. Tournament Volunteering - Starts at 9:00am, includes dozens of Rotarians (including our Interactors serving food), and ends at 8:00pm with a methodical clean up.
